A Tribute to Northern Heritage

A set of two versatile plinths, inspired by the town where I grew up, and which I still hold dear.

The Ramparts are geometric abstractions, an ode to the historic monuments you encounter in the Northern landscapes. They stand as bold, minimalist presences, made to elevate any cherished object or sculpture.Crafted from local solid and veneer oak, each pedestal is designed with a circular tray carved into the solid oak top, placing displayed goods front and center—just as the original watchtowers stand proudly, looking out toward the horizon. Low and tall, they bring both elegance and strength to any space.
